The short version

Yes, Pipedrive has an official MCP server, built and maintained by Pipedrive. It connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients to your Pipedrive account over OAuth, with no code. From a chat it can search deals, contacts, organizations and leads, create and update deals, contacts and activities, convert leads and move deals between stages. Pipedrive says it is on every plan, with usage counted against plan token limits. We make Cleanlist AI, which runs a contact-data MCP server, so read this as a vendor's review.

Facts checked October 15, 2026. Every Pipedrive fact below comes from Pipedrive's MCP server feature page and FAQ, read on October 15, 2026. We did not connect a Pipedrive account for this review.

Does Pipedrive have an MCP server?

Yes. Pipedrive publishes an official MCP server that it builds and maintains itself. Pipedrive has setup guides for ChatGPT and Claude, and its FAQ says any assistant that supports custom MCP connections can use it, naming Cursor and custom LLM setups as examples. You connect with a secure OAuth login, and Pipedrive says no coding or developer setup is needed.

What can the Pipedrive MCP server do?

Pipedrive groups what the server does into three kinds of work:

  • Find: search deals, contacts, organizations and leads by name, email or phone, and pull up the full record; retrieve pipeline details and recent sales activity.
  • Act: create and update deals, contacts and activities; create leads and convert them; move deals between pipeline stages; schedule follow-ups.
  • Summarize: surface the deals most likely to close and their next steps, turn meeting notes into CRM records, and draft follow-up tasks.

That makes it a write-capable CRM server, closer to HubSpot's than to read-only servers like Gong's. A rep can say "log a call with Acme, move the deal to Proposal and remind me Friday" and the assistant does all three.

How do you connect Pipedrive to Claude or ChatGPT?

Pipedrive links official guides for both. In each case you add Pipedrive from the assistant's connector or app settings and sign in to Pipedrive through OAuth. For other clients, such as Cursor, you add the Pipedrive MCP server as a custom connection; Pipedrive's feature page does not print the server URL itself, so take it from Pipedrive's setup guide.

Is the Pipedrive MCP server free?

Pipedrive says the MCP server is "available on all Pipedrive plans" for every customer. Usage counts against your plan's token limits, which vary by plan, and you can buy more tokens. Pipedrive's page does not publish the token figures, so check your plan before you point an agent at a large job.

Is the Pipedrive MCP server safe?

Pipedrive says the assistant can only work with information the signed-in Pipedrive user already has permission to see or edit, and that its actions are recorded in Pipedrive's change log. It works on live data rather than a delayed sync. Your AI provider's own privacy and security policies also apply to what you send through it.

Because the server can write, decide before you connect it who should let an assistant change deals and contacts, and use the change log to review what an agent did in its first weeks.

What are the limits of Pipedrive's MCP server?

  • Token limits apply per plan, with no figures published on the feature page.
  • No published rate limits.
  • No admin controls are described on the page we read.
  • Deletes are not mentioned. The page lists create and update actions only.
  • It only knows your CRM. The server works on records already in Pipedrive; it cannot find new people or supply a missing email or phone number.

Who is the Pipedrive MCP server good for?

It suits small and mid-size sales teams that run their pipeline in Pipedrive and want reps to update deals, log activity and plan follow-ups from the AI tool they already use. Founders doing their own selling get the most from it, because the "update the CRM after every call" chore is exactly what it removes.

Where does Cleanlist AI's MCP server fit next to Pipedrive?

Cleanlist AI publishes this page, so treat this section as a disclosed vendor entry. Pipedrive's server manages the people already in your CRM. Cleanlist AI's MCP server finds the ones who are not there yet: people and company search across 1B+ profiles, and verified work emails and phone numbers from a waterfall of 25+ data providers. Search is free, a verified email costs 1 credit and a phone number 10, nothing is charged on a miss, and Claude shows a cost quote before any paid enrichment.

Connected side by side in Claude, the two cover the whole loop: ask Cleanlist AI for ten VPs of Sales at your target accounts with verified emails, then ask Pipedrive to create them as leads. Cleanlist AI's MCP server is included from Starter at $49 per seat a month and in the 14-day Pro trial; see the MCP product page. For the other CRM servers, read our HubSpot MCP server review and the list of MCP servers for sales and GTM.
