TL;DR
Lemlist sells three plans. Email is $69 per user per month billed monthly, or $55 billed annually ($660 a year). Multichannel is $109 per user per month billed monthly, or $87 billed annually ($1,044 a year), and includes "5 Senders /User". Enterprise is custom. Credits are a separate purchase at $10 per 1,000, where a verified email costs 5 credits and a phone number costs 20, so 1,000 verified emails is $50 and 1,000 phone numbers is $200. There is a 14-day free trial of Multichannel with no card and no permanent free plan. All figures read from lemlist.com/pricing on September 1, 2026. Last updated: September 1, 2026.
Last updated: September 1, 2026. Every lemlist figure below was read from lemlist.com/pricing on September 1, 2026 and the URL is named inline. Lemlist publishes three plan cards today, not four, and the credit line is the part most buyers miss.
Lemlist is a multichannel sequencing platform: email sending, warmup, LinkedIn steps, SMS and WhatsApp, a dialer and a unified inbox. Cleanlist sits upstream of it and syncs into it. Cleanlist builds and enriches the list, then pushes leads to lemlist at 0.2 credits per lead. Cleanlist does not send email, does not run a dialer and does not ship an inbox, so this guide is about pricing lemlist accurately rather than replacing it.
How much does lemlist cost in 2026?
Lemlist costs $69 per user per month for the Email plan on monthly billing, or $55 per user per month on annual billing, which the page marks as a 20% saving and totals at $660 a year (lemlist.com/pricing, checked September 1, 2026). The Multichannel plan, which lemlist marks as popular, is $109 per user per month monthly or $87 annually, totalling $1,044 a year. Enterprise is custom with no per-user rate listed. Those prices buy the platform. They do not buy the data: credits for verified emails and phone numbers are a separate add-on purchase, priced at $10 per 1,000 credits.
What are lemlist's three plans and what do they include?
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Annual total | Senders |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $69/user/mo | $55/user/mo | $660/user/yr | Not printed on the plan card | |
| Multichannel | $109/user/mo | $87/user/mo | $1,044/user/yr | "5 Senders /User" |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | "≥ 5 Senders /User" |
All plans carry the 650M+ lead database, the email and phone finder, lemAgent AI, the deliverability hub and warmup, CRM integrations and API access. Multichannel adds LinkedIn automation, SMS and WhatsApp messaging, a built-in call dialer and task management, plus the unified inbox. Enterprise adds custom roles, a dedicated account manager, SSO and SAML, and priority support (lemlist.com/pricing, September 1, 2026).
How do lemlist credits work, and what does one cost?
Lemlist prices data in credits and sells them in packs. The published rates are "Verified emails: 5 credits /email" and "Phone numbers: 20 credits /number", and the pack on the page reads "1k credits - 200 emails or 50 phones - $10" (lemlist.com/pricing, September 1, 2026). That works out to $0.01 per credit, $0.05 per verified email and $0.20 per phone number. The important structural point is that the pricing page does not print a monthly credit allowance included with any plan. On the page as we read it, credits are an add-on purchase. Cleanlist works the other way: the plan price includes the credits, at 1,500 a month on Starter, 5,000 on Pro and 15,000 on Scale, and search costs 0 credits.
What does 1,000 verified emails actually cost on lemlist?
At 5 credits per verified email and $10 per 1,000 credits, 1,000 verified emails costs 5,000 credits, which is $50 (lemlist.com/pricing, September 1, 2026). One thousand phone numbers costs 20,000 credits at 20 credits each, which is $200. Add the seat: one user on Multichannel annual is $87 a month, so a single operator pulling 1,000 emails and 200 phones in a month pays $87 plus $50 plus $40, which is $177. For comparison on the data line alone, Cleanlist Pro is $229 a month for 5,000 credits, about $0.046 a credit, and a verified email with LinkedIn, title and company costs 1 credit. Cleanlist's direct dial costs 10 credits, which is more per number than lemlist's list price, and it is sourced from a 25+ provider waterfall rather than a single finder.
Is lemlist priced per user or per workspace?
Per user. Both published plans print a per-user rate, and the sender allowance on Multichannel is stated per user as "5 Senders /User" (lemlist.com/pricing, September 1, 2026). That makes lemlist's total cost scale linearly with headcount, which is the opposite of the flat-fee model at Instantly and Smartlead. A three-person team on Multichannel annual pays $261 a month, or $3,132 a year. A five-person team pays $435 a month, or $5,220 a year, before a single credit is bought. Cleanlist bundles seats into the plan instead: Starter $79 includes 2, Pro $229 includes 5, Scale $599 includes 10, and an extra seat is $20 a month, so the five-person Cleanlist team is $229 a month at $45.80 per seat.
Does lemlist have a free plan?
No. Lemlist publishes a free trial, not a free plan. The page states: "You get full access to the Multichannel plan for 14 days - no credit card required." There is no permanent free tier on the pricing page as read on September 1, 2026. That trial is genuinely full-featured, which makes it a useful way to test deliverability and sequence logic before committing to a per-seat contract. Cleanlist runs the same shape of offer on the data side: a new workspace starts on Scale for 14 days with 250 credits, 3 seats and no card, covering every feature except the public API and MCP, and then drops to a Free plan at $0 for 30 credits a month with no expiry.
How much does lemlist cost for a 3-person team per year?
On the Email plan at $55 per user per month annual, three users cost $165 a month, or $1,980 a year. On Multichannel at $87 per user per month annual, three users cost $261 a month, or $3,132 a year (lemlist.com/pricing, September 1, 2026). Credits are on top. If that team pulls 3,000 verified emails and 500 phone numbers a month, that is 15,000 plus 10,000 credits, which is 25,000 credits at $10 per 1,000, or $250 a month, $3,000 a year. Total for the year on Multichannel: $6,132. Budget the credit line before you sign, because on the page we read it is not included in the seat price.
Is lemlist cheaper than Instantly or Smartlead?
Not on a like-for-like team. Lemlist Multichannel is $87 per user per month annual, so a three-person team is $261 a month. Instantly Hypergrowth is $77.60 a month flat with unlimited email accounts and no printed seat meter, and Smartlead Pro is $78.30 a month flat with unlimited email accounts (instantly.ai/pricing and smartlead.ai/pricing, both checked September 1, 2026). For a single operator the three are within about $10 a month of each other. For a team of three or more, the per-user model costs multiples of the flat-fee model. What lemlist sells for that premium is the multichannel surface: LinkedIn steps, SMS, WhatsApp and a dialer, none of which the flat-fee senders bundle.
What does lemlist not include that you still have to buy?
Domains and mailboxes are yours to buy, as with every sending platform. Credits for verified emails and phone numbers are a separate purchase on the page we read. Lemlist does include the deliverability hub and warmup at every tier, plus CRM integrations and API access, which several competitors gate to higher plans. What it does not include is enrichment across a provider network: the email and phone finder is lemlist's own. Cleanlist queries 25+ providers per request and returned 98% verified email and 85% direct dial across 500 stratified B2B leads in the Cleanlist 500-Lead Enrichment Benchmark, 2026, while single-source providers returned 70-80% email and 30-60% phone on identical input.
Can you use Cleanlist with lemlist?
Yes, and it is a shipped integration rather than a Zapier workaround. Cleanlist syncs leads to lemlist at 0.2 credits per lead, alongside its CRM syncs to HubSpot, Salesforce and Outreach. The workflow is: run People Search or Company Search in Cleanlist with structured filters at 0 credits, enrich the matches through the 25+ provider waterfall at 1 credit for a verified email, 10 for a direct dial and 11 for both, score them 0 to 100 against your ICP, then push the qualified set into a lemlist sequence. Cleanlist is charged only when data comes back, so a lookup that returns nothing costs nothing and never lands in the sequence as a bounce.
What is the cheapest way to run lemlist?
Take the annual discount and buy only the seats that will send. Annual billing takes Email from $69 to $55 per user per month and Multichannel from $109 to $87, which is a 20% saving, or $168 and $264 a year per user respectively (lemlist.com/pricing, September 1, 2026). Then decide honestly whether you need Multichannel: the $32 per user per month gap buys LinkedIn, SMS, WhatsApp, the dialer and the unified inbox, and if your motion is email only, the Email plan is $384 a year cheaper per user. Finally, source the data outside the credit meter if you already run an enrichment tool, because at $0.05 a verified email and $0.20 a phone number, credits are the line that grows fastest.
Who should buy lemlist, and who should not?
Buy lemlist if your sequences genuinely run across channels, because LinkedIn steps, SMS, WhatsApp and a dialer in one sequence builder is what the per-user premium pays for. Buy the Email plan rather than Multichannel if your outbound is email only, and take the annual discount either way. Do not buy lemlist as a data tool: the credit rates are list prices for a single finder, and the pricing page includes no credit allowance in the seat. Do not model the cost from the seat price alone for a team of five or more, because the per-user structure means five seats on Multichannel is $5,220 a year before credits.
