The short answer
B2B website visitor identification software tells you who is on your site: the company behind each visit and, for US traffic, often the person. Company-level tools match the visitor's IP address to a business. Leadfeeder has a free plan, Snitcher starts at $49 a month, and HubSpot's buyer intent runs on the tracking code HubSpot users already have. Person-level tools match the visitor to a named profile, mainly for US traffic: RB2B is free for companies and $79 a month for people, and Bullseye starts at $99. Every price below was checked on the vendor's own page on November 4, 2026.
A visitor tool hands you a company or a profile, and outreach still needs a verified email. Paste a LinkedIn profile into the free LinkedIn email finder, or jump to the step after identification for companies that arrive with no name.
The 12 tools at a glance
Five of these tools can name people, and the two that state a region, RB2B and Apollo, do it for US visitors only. The other seven name companies, worldwide. The "how" column is each vendor's own description of its method.

Company-level or person-level: how identification works
Every tool starts with a script on your site that records each visit. What differs is what the tool matches the visit against.
Company-level identification (reverse IP). The tool looks up the visitor's IP address in a database that maps IP ranges to companies. A visit from Acme's office network comes back as Acme, with its domain, size and the pages viewed. It works worldwide and names no person. A home connection belongs to an internet provider, which is why vendors work on remote workers too: Leadfeeder says its matching covers remote and home workers.
Person-level identification. The tool matches the visitor's browser or device to a known person. RB2B says it matches visitors against a permissioned publisher network using first- and third-party cookies, device IDs and IP addresses. Vector says it matches visitor data against identity graphs. You get a name, a LinkedIn profile and sometimes a business email. RB2B and Apollo both say their person-level identification covers US visitors only.
What each vendor says it identifies
| Vendor | Its own claim | Counted against |
|---|---|---|
| RB2B | 15 to 20% coverage on Starter and Pro, 35 to 45% on Pro+ | Not defined on the pricing page |
| Leadfeeder | Up to 45% | B2B visitors, at company level |
| Bullseye | Up to 40% | Anonymous visitors |
| Leadinfo | Typically about 30% | Website traffic, as identified companies |
| Factors.ai | Over 75% on Basic | Visiting companies |
| Vector | Around 35%, for de-anonymization tools in general | Site visitors |
We did not test any of these tools, and the figures do not compare: each counts against a different base. The number that matters is the one you get on your own traffic. Run two trials in the same weeks and check the companies each one names against your CRM.
Person-level tools
1. RB2B: best for naming US visitors on a small budget
RB2B names companies worldwide through Demandbase's reverse-IP network, and names people through its publisher network for US visitors only. The Free plan gives 150 resolutions a month, companies only, sent to Slack or Teams. Starter is $79 a month for 300 resolutions with people included, delivered as LinkedIn profile URLs without emails. Pro starts at $149 a month for 600 and adds business emails and every integration. Pro+ starts at $199 with higher coverage. Every account gets a 7-day trial with no card.
2. Bullseye: best for paying only when a visitor is named
Bullseye describes its product as person-level identification: a visitor's name, work email, job title and company, sent to your CRM, Slack or ad audiences. Its pages do not say how the match is made or which countries it covers. Plans start at $99 a month for 200 credits. One credit buys one identified visitor, and a direct phone number costs 5 credits, charged only when one is found. Unused credits do not roll over, and identification pauses when they run out. The trial is 14 days with no card.
3. Apollo: best if your team already prospects in Apollo
Apollo matches your traffic against its own data, 240M+ contacts and 30M+ companies by Apollo's count. Company identification is on the free plan and works globally. Contact identification needs the Inbound add-on, which Apollo sells to paid plans per team per month, and it covers US-based visitors only. Apollo's pricing page builds the add-on price from your inputs, so we list no figure.
4. Warmly: best for acting on visitors in real time, with chat
Warmly names people and companies on your site, then acts on them: Slack alerts, lead routing, CRM sync and retargeting by email, LinkedIn or ads. AI Web-Deanonymization starts at $10,000 a year, or $4,875 a quarter, on plans from 10,000 credits a month. Inbound Chat, which adds an AI chatbot and live chat, starts at $20,000 a year. The pricing page lists no monthly plan, free plan or trial. On June 30, 2026, Warmly announced an agreement to be acquired by HubSpot and said existing contracts and pricing stay unchanged for now.
5. Vector: best for retargeting the people who visited
Vector says it de-anonymizes the specific people on your website, and it pairs that with ad targeting and bid agents. Plans are sized by your total unique monthly visitors and your ad spend. Growth costs $36,000 a year for up to 25,000 unique visitors and $25,000 of monthly ad spend. Scale and Enterprise are quoted, and every plan has unlimited seats on one annual contract.
Company-level tools
6. Leadfeeder (Dealfront): best free start for company names
Leadfeeder, part of Dealfront, matches visitors to companies by IP address. It shows no individuals unless they identify themselves, for example through a form. Lite is free: the last 100 identified companies with 7 days of history. Discover starts at €79 a month billed annually, or €113 monthly, for up to 50 companies a month, and reaches €309 for 501 to 1,000. Activate, from €369 a month billed annually, adds verified emails and phone numbers paid for in credits. The trial is 14 days with no card.
7. Snitcher: best low monthly price for company names
Snitcher identifies companies with IP-to-company matching on its own database and reveals contact details only when you choose to. The price rises with the companies identified each month: $49 for up to 50, $99 for 101 to 250, $229 for 751 to 1,000 and $529 for 4,001 to 5,000, with about 30% off on annual billing. Plans include alerts, CRM sync with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive, and unlimited team members. The trial is 14 days with no card.
8. Leadinfo: best for European teams that want contacts in the same tool
Leadinfo names the companies behind visits, covering 195 countries by its count, and adds decision makers from a database it puts at 300M+ people. Starter is €69 a month billed annually, or €99 monthly, for up to 50 companies a month. Scale starts at €159 billed annually for up to 250 companies and adds HubSpot and Dynamics integrations. It sends a tailored offer after a 14-day trial that needs no payment details.
9. Albacross: best for identifying and emailing from one tool
Albacross turns anonymous traffic into named companies and adds AI email and LinkedIn sequences, so the follow-up starts in the same tool. Starter begins at €59 a month billed yearly, or €84 monthly, with tiers up to 100 companies a month and 10 verified email and 5 phone credits. Professional is €149 a month billed yearly, or €213 monthly, for up to 500 companies, and adds HubSpot and LinkedIn Ads integrations. There is no free plan, and the trial is 14 days with no card.
10. Factors.ai: best for account analytics and ad attribution
Factors.ai identifies visiting companies with what it calls waterfall enrichment for IP-to-company identification, then builds account analytics on top, such as segments, alerts and LinkedIn Ads influence tracking. Lite costs $199 a month after a free trial, for up to 1,500 identified companies a month and 3 seats. Basic is $6,000 a year for up to 3,000 companies and adds CRM sync. Growth is $20,000 a year.
11. HubSpot buyer intent: best if HubSpot is your CRM
HubSpot's knowledge base says buyer intent uses the HubSpot tracking code to connect anonymous web visitors to known companies' IP addresses, and shows visits, unique visitors and top pages for each company (updated October 13, 2026). It comes with Starter, Professional and Enterprise subscriptions. Adding and tracking a company costs 10 HubSpot Credits a month, per HubSpot's Product & Services Catalog. Starter includes 500 credits, which covers about 50 companies if nothing else uses them, and extra credits cost $0.010 each. HubSpot's pricing page showed Sales Hub Starter at $7 to $20 a seat a month, depending on billing and new-customer discounts.
12. Lead Forensics: best for a guided setup priced on your traffic
Lead Forensics tracks the IP addresses of businesses visiting your site and pairs each one with decision-maker contact data. It publishes no price: its pricing page says cost depends on your site's traffic, with unlimited users. A one-week free trial measures your visitor volume, and then a representative quotes.
How to choose a visitor identification tool
- Where your visitors are. RB2B and Apollo name people only for US visitors, and the other person-level tools here state no region. For a mostly European audience, compare the company-level tools: Leadfeeder, Leadinfo, Snitcher and Albacross.
- People or companies. Account-first reps can start research from a company name and the pages viewed. Reps who want a name to email today need a person-level tool, plus a check on what it returns.
- Your CRM. HubSpot teams can try buyer intent before adding a vendor. Apollo users get company identification on the free plan.
- How you pay. Company-level tools price by companies identified a month, RB2B and Bullseye by visitors named, Warmly and Vector by annual contract. Read your real volume off a trial before you pick a tier.
- Who works the list. A tool that names 600 visitors a month creates 600 research jobs. Decide who works them, and how fast, before you buy.
Privacy and consent
Naming visitors touches privacy law, and the rules depend on where the visitor is. RB2B's site says its person-level identification is US only and that its company-level identification needs a consent tool on your site for visitors covered by GDPR. Leadfeeder says it collects company-level data and IP addresses and shows no individuals by default. Before you add a script, check what your cookie banner covers, and ask counsel about GDPR, Europe's cookie rules and US state laws such as California's CCPA. This is not legal advice.
A worked example: from 6,000 visits to a call list
The company and its traffic are made up. The prices are real, checked November 4, 2026. The company sells software to US logistics firms and gets about 6,000 visits a month.
- Identify. Say the tool names 900 companies. On Snitcher that is the 751 to 1,000 tier, $229 a month. On Leadfeeder Discover it is €309 a month billed annually.
- Filter. Keep the companies that fit the ICP: US logistics firms with 50 to 500 employees. Say 150 fit, and 40 of them viewed pricing.
- Find the people. Keep 2 people at each of the 150 companies, so 300 people. Searching costs 0 credits in Cleanlist AI.
- Get the contact details. Verified emails for all 300 cost at most 300 credits. Phone numbers for one person at each of the 40 pricing-page accounts add 400. A miss costs nothing, so 700 credits is the most this month can draw.
- Add it up. One Cleanlist AI Starter seat, $49 a month with 750 credits, covers the 700. The month costs $229 + $49 = $278 with Snitcher. The 40 pricing-page accounts get a call within a day, and the other 110 go into a sequence.
With mostly US traffic, a person-level tool changes step 3. RB2B Pro, from $149 a month for 600 resolutions, sends names and business emails. Verify those emails before you send, at half a credit each in Cleanlist AI.
The step after: find and verify the people
Identification ends with a company or a profile. Outreach needs a person, a verified email and often a phone number.

Disclosure. We make Cleanlist AI. Its 98% verified email and 85% direct dial figures come from our own 500-lead benchmark, which named no other vendor.
Cleanlist AI does not identify website visitors. It does the next job: finding the right people at the companies your visitor tool names, and getting each one a verified work email and phone number from 25+ data providers in sequence.
Our product
Cleanlist
Best for: lean GTM teams that want one platform in place of 3 to 5 tools: AI agents that find buyers, get verified emails and phone numbers from 25+ providers and send the sequences.
Cleanlist AI publishes this page. Accuracy figures are from our own benchmark, not a third-party test.
Cleanlist AI runs waterfall enrichment across 25+ data providers in sequence and stops at the first deliverable result, at 1 credit per verified work email and 10 per phone number. A missed email or phone number costs nothing. It returns 98% verified work emails and 85% phone numbers on the Cleanlist AI 500-Lead Enrichment Benchmark, which is our own test run on a 500-lead sample. Plans start at $49 per seat a month.
Clu, Cleanlist AI's GTM agent, turns one sentence into an agent that searches 1B+ profiles, enriches and verifies every person it finds, adds them to a sequence and posts each run to Slack, every week or on a CRM trigger.

- Fits when
- Your visitor tool names companies, and you need the buyers inside them
- Your visitor tool sends LinkedIn URLs or names without a verified email
- You want the finished contacts in HubSpot or Salesforce rather than in a CSV
- Pairs with
- The visitor identification tool you pick from this list, which names the company or the person
- Your sequencer, if you already run one. Cleanlist AI pushes to Salesloft and Lemlist, and its own Sequences send from your inbox
Pick the step by what your visitor tool hands you:
- A LinkedIn profile URL, which is what RB2B Starter sends. Paste it into the free LinkedIn email finder for the email, name, company and job title, with 2 free lookups per IP every 30 days. The free lookup checks one provider and does not verify the address, so run it through the email verifier, which also gives 2 free checks, before you send.
- A name and a company. Type both into the email finder. The verified address comes back inside a free Cleanlist AI workspace, at 1 credit, and nothing is charged if no deliverable address turns up.
- An email the tool already found. Verify it before it enters a sequence. Inside a workspace, validation is half a credit an email.
- A company with no person. Search People Search by the company's web domain with a department and a seniority, keep 1 to 3 people per company, and enrich only those. Searching costs 0 credits. Our guide to finding decision makers at a list of companies has the filters.
- A month of companies at once. Export the domains from your visitor tool, save them as a company list and find the people at those companies. On Pro the contacts sync to HubSpot or Salesforce and agents can push them to Salesloft or Lemlist. From Starter you can add them to a Cleanlist AI sequence, and every plan can export a CSV.
What it costs: a verified work email is 1 credit, a phone number 10 and both 11, and a lookup that finds nothing costs nothing. Every new workspace starts with a 14-day Pro trial with up to 3 seats and 250 credits, plus 100 more when you register with a work email, and a card is required. After the trial, the Free plan keeps 50 credits a month. Starter is $49 a seat a month with 750 credits a seat, and Pro is $89 with 1,500.

Frequently asked questions
Can I see who visited my website?
Partly. Web analytics such as Google Analytics show visits but no names. A company-level tool adds the business behind each visit from the IP address, and a person-level tool can add the person, which RB2B and Apollo do for US visitors only. Anyone who fills in a form, books a meeting or replies to an email still identifies themselves the usual way.
Is there free website visitor identification software?
Yes, at the company level. RB2B's free plan gives 150 company resolutions a month, Leadfeeder Lite shows the last 100 companies with 7 days of history, and Apollo's free plan includes company identification. Naming people costs money on every tool here, and RB2B Starter, at $79 a month, has the lowest published price on this list.
How accurate is website visitor identification?
The vendors claim figures from 15% to over 75%, each counted against a different base, and we tested none of them. Reverse IP depends on the visitor's network, and RB2B and Apollo name people only for US visitors, so your traffic mix decides your number.
What is the difference between visitor identification and intent data?
Visitor identification watches your own website. Intent data comes from research activity on other websites and tells you which companies are reading about a topic anywhere. Intent vendors sell it separately, and our intent data providers comparison covers that market.
Does Cleanlist AI identify website visitors?
No. Cleanlist AI has no visitor identification and no intent data. It does the step after: it finds the right people at the companies your visitor tool names and gets their verified work emails and phone numbers from 25+ providers, at 1 credit per email and 10 per phone number, with nothing charged for a miss.
