The short answer

ZoomInfo is the better buy for mid-size and enterprise teams that will use its account data, buyer intent, website visitor data and marketing audiences. Seamless.AI is the better buy for small SDR teams that look up one person at a time and want a smaller bill. Both sell annual contracts with no published price: Vendr's median ZoomInfo deal is $33,500 a year, and Spendhound puts the average Seamless.AI customer with 50 to 1,000 employees at $6,923 a year (both checked November 4, 2026). We have not tested the two on the same list, so test both on your own contacts before you sign.

To run that test on your own prospects, the email finder turns a name and a company into a verified work email inside a free workspace of Cleanlist AI (our product). The 20-contact test below shows how to score all three.

Last checked: November 4, 2026. Every vendor price, term and data claim on this page comes from the vendor's own pages or a named source, read that day. Where a third-party source shows its own publish or update date, we give that date too.

What is the difference between ZoomInfo and Seamless.AI?

ZoomInfo sells the account. Its homepage calls it "the AI platform for go-to-market teams", built on verified data on 500M+ contacts and 100M+ companies. The Sales plans start with ZoomInfo Professional: contact and company profiles, mobile numbers and business email, CRM integrations, a Chrome extension and a dialer. Copilot Advanced adds an Account Fit Score, buyer intent, website visitors and AI-built buying groups. Copilot Enterprise adds real-time intent and custom integrations. Separate Marketing plans add ad audiences and ABM, with 75,000 credits included on Marketing Demand and 150,000 on ABM Enterprise.

Seamless.AI sells the lookup. Its FAQ describes "a real-time search engine that helps B2B companies find accurate sales leads", and reps mostly use it through a Chrome extension that finds "cell phones, emails, direct dials" on any site. Around that sit Buyer Intent, Job Changes, CRM Enrich, Autopilot, AI agents for outbound, inbound and ops work, an AI-powered dialer, an MCP server, an API and integrations with "6,000+ tools".

So the two overlap on the core job: find a person's email and phone number. ZoomInfo then adds the account layer of fit, intent, visitors, buying groups and marketing audiences. Seamless.AI puts its weight on fast prospecting, one person at a time.

How much does ZoomInfo cost compared with Seamless.AI?

Neither company prints a price for a paid plan. ZoomInfo says its paid plans are "custom-quoted", set by team size, credit volume, features, integrations and contract length, and its pricing FAQ says its pricing "does not start at $15,000". Seamless.AI's homepage FAQ says it "is free for up to 50 credits" and then sends you to sales. So the numbers you can check come from buyers.

Billing"Billed annually, not monthly""Annual with monthly or annual billing cycles"

Two cautions before you compare. Vendr reports a median of purchases and Spendhound an average by company size, so the two figures measure different things. And ZoomInfo's $0.38 credit belongs to GTM.AI, its self-serve product for developers and AI agents, where one credit enriches or exports one company, contact or intent record with "no contract, no seat fees". The main ZoomInfo platform is still quoted.

The fair comparison is two written quotes for the same seats, the same credit volume and the same term. Our ZoomInfo pricing guide and Seamless.AI pricing guide list the line items to ask about.

Contracts, renewals and cancellation

Both tools sell annual contracts, and both make an early exit hard.

Seamless.AI. Its Terms of Use, updated October 27, 2026, say "All subscriptions for the Services are annual with monthly or annual billing cycles" and that "all sales are final". To cancel, you change the subscription in the platform "no later than 60 days prior to the next annual contract renewal date". Miss that and the contract renews for another 12 months. The same section lets Seamless.AI change its fees by notice, effective when the notice is given.

ZoomInfo. Your term is whatever your order form says. ZoomInfo's License Terms add: "The Agreement is not cancellable and shall remain in effect until it expires or is earlier terminated according to its terms." They list three ways out: a material breach left unfixed 21 days after written notice, uptime below the 99.9% monthly guarantee twice within three months, and the contact accuracy clause covered below. The renewal notice period sits in your order form, so read it before you sign.

With either tool, put the renewal date and the notice deadline in your calendar the day you sign. Ask for the notice period and any cap on renewal increases in writing.

Which has better data?

We cannot settle that with a shared test, because we have not run Seamless.AI. Here is what each company says and promises, and the one figure we have measured.

ZoomInfo says its data comes from a contributor network, where people who use ZoomInfo Lite "can choose to share professional contact details" in exchange for free access. It adds machine learning that scans "28 million company domains daily", data partners and "300+ human researchers". It claims "up to 95% accuracy on first-party data", its own figure. Its License Terms back part of that: if more than 5% of the contacts are not employed by the company listed, ZoomInfo has 30 days to bring them to 95%. If it cannot, you may end the contract with a prorated refund.

Seamless.AI says it searches in real time and keeps "100+ live data points per profile, updated continuously". Its Credit Back Protection Program, updated October 27, 2026, refunds the credit automatically when an email it provided is invalid. The program "does not apply to" phone numbers or company data, and it excludes soft bounces, role addresses such as info@ and emails that go inactive later.

What we measured. In our own 1,000-lead test in March 2026, ZoomInfo matched a work email for 84% of the leads and a mobile number for 67%, against 78% and 41% for Apollo. That test had no Seamless.AI arm. The method is in Apollo vs ZoomInfo.

The protections differ. ZoomInfo's sits in the contract and covers whether people still work where the record says. Seamless.AI's is automatic and covers one email at a time. Neither promises anything for a phone number that does not connect.

For what users report on Capterra and Trustpilot, see our Seamless.AI review and ZoomInfo review. On Trustpilot, cancellation is a common complaint for both tools: Seamless.AI scores 1.2 from 315 reviews and ZoomInfo 1.6 from 341 (checked November 4, 2026).

The verdict

Choose ZoomInfo when the whole revenue team will use it: sales for contacts and the dialer, marketing for audiences, and RevOps for fit scores and intent. That breadth is what a median contract of $33,500 a year pays for. Choose Seamless.AI when a small team mainly needs a person's email and phone number fast. It also brings intent and job changes in the same tool, and Spendhound reports an average of about $6,900 a year for its customers with 50 to 1,000 employees.

Whichever you lean toward, do three things first. Get both quotes for the same seats, credits and term. Test both on 20 of your own contacts. Put the notice date in your calendar the day you sign.

See pricing

Test both on your own contacts before you sign

A demo shows the records the vendor picks. Your own contacts show what you will actually get. Here is a 20-contact test you can run in a day, with what each step costs.

  1. Pick 20 people you can check. Use contacts from recent deals, where you already know the right email and phone number. Mix job levels and company sizes the way your real list does.
  2. Run them through Seamless.AI's free credits. The free plan covers up to 50 credits, which is enough for 20 contacts.
  3. Run them through ZoomInfo. ZoomInfo Lite gives 10 credits a month, which covers half the list. ZoomInfo's free trial "typically includes unlimited searches and views of contact and company profiles", so you can check the rest by eye.
  4. Run the same 20 through the Cleanlist AI email finder. Give the email finder each name and company. Cleanlist AI asks 25+ data providers in sequence, stops at the first deliverable address and verifies it before you see it. A verified work email is 1 credit and a phone number 10, and a miss costs nothing.
  5. Check every address before you trust it. Paste a few results from each tool into the email verifier, which checks 2 addresses free every 30 days. Or verify the whole set in a workspace at half a credit each.
  6. Score each tool. For each of the 20, mark found, verified and right person. Then divide each vendor's yearly quote by the usable contacts you would get from it in a year.

What the test costs: nothing on Seamless.AI's free plan or ZoomInfo Lite. On Cleanlist AI, every new workspace starts with a 14-day Pro trial with up to 3 seats and 250 credits, and a card is required. 20 verified emails and 20 phone numbers use at most 220 credits, so the whole test fits in the trial. After it, the Free plan keeps 50 credits a month, Starter is $49 a seat a month and Pro is $89.

If neither fits

Apollo.io pairs a contact database with sequences, and it has a free plan and self-serve paid plans (apollo.io/pricing, checked November 4, 2026). We compare it with each tool in Seamless.AI vs Apollo and Apollo vs ZoomInfo.

Cognism quotes every plan, as these two do: Standard and Pro, each with 5 seats included (cognism.com/pricing, checked November 4, 2026).

Lusha is one of the providers inside the Cleanlist AI waterfall, and it prints its prices. The free plan has 40 credits a month. Starter is $49.90 a month, or $37.45 a month billed annually, at 1 credit per email and 5 per phone number (lusha.com/pricing, checked November 4, 2026).

Cleanlist AI (our product)

Disclosure. We make Cleanlist AI. Its 98% verified email and 85% direct dial figures come from our own 500-lead benchmark, which named no other vendor.

Clu, Cleanlist AI's GTM agent, finds buyers across 1B+ profiles, gets verified emails and phone numbers from 25+ providers through waterfall enrichment and sends the sequences. Plans are published and billed monthly: Starter is $49 and Pro $89 a seat a month, with HubSpot and Salesforce sync on Pro. It sells no intent data, has no built-in dialer and owns no database, so a team that needs those keeps another tool for them.

Frequently asked questions

Who is better than ZoomInfo?

That depends on the job you bought ZoomInfo for. For contact data at a price you can read first, Apollo.io, Lusha and Cleanlist AI (our product) publish their plans. For prospecting one person at a time, Seamless.AI is the closer match at a lower reported spend. For intent, website visitors and marketing audiences under one contract, ZoomInfo covers more than Seamless.AI does.

Is ZoomInfo accurate?

ZoomInfo claims "up to 95% accuracy on first-party data". Its License Terms let you exit with a prorated refund if more than 5% of contacts are not at the company listed and ZoomInfo cannot fix that within 30 days. In our own 1,000-lead test in March 2026, it matched a work email for 84% of leads and a mobile number for 67%. Results vary by market, so test a sample of your own.

Is Seamless.AI cheaper than ZoomInfo?

On reported spend, yes. Spendhound's average for Seamless.AI customers with 50 to 1,000 employees is $6,923 a year, and Vendr's median ZoomInfo purchase is $33,500. The two come from different sources and measures, but the gap is wide. Neither vendor publishes a paid price, so your quote depends on seats, credits and term.

What is the lawsuit against ZoomInfo?

Two matters come up. The first is Ramos et al. v. ZoomInfo Technologies (No. 21-cv-02032), a right of publicity class action in the Northern District of Illinois. It alleged that ZoomInfo used people's names and details to promote its subscriptions. The parties reached a settlement, and the official notice says "ZoomInfo denies that it violated any law." The second is a securities class action that, according to a notice from the law firm Robbins LLP, alleges ZoomInfo misled investors who bought between November 3, 2025 and May 11, 2026. The stock fell to $4.06 after ZoomInfo cut its full-year guidance on May 11, 2026. Our ZoomInfo competitors guide has the case details.

Is ZoomInfo different from Zoom?

Yes. ZoomInfo is a B2B data company, founded in 2007 and based in Vancouver, Washington, and it trades on Nasdaq as GTM after changing its symbol from ZI in May 2025. Zoom, the video meeting company, is a separate business, and ZoomInfo's homepage even quotes a manager at Zoom as a customer.

Can I cancel ZoomInfo or Seamless.AI early?

Usually not. ZoomInfo's License Terms say the agreement "is not cancellable" outside the exits they list, and Seamless.AI's Terms of Use say all sales are final. With Seamless.AI, cancel in the platform at least 60 days before renewal. With ZoomInfo, follow the notice period in your order form.
