LinkedIn automation tools send connection requests, messages and follow-ups from your LinkedIn account on a schedule, so one rep can work hundreds of prospects a week. The 10 worth a shortlist in 2026, priced per LinkedIn account on monthly billing: HeyReach ($79 per sender), Expandi ($99), Dripify (from $59), Waalaxy (from $59, or $29 billed yearly), La Growth Machine (from €60 per identity), MeetAlfred (from $59), lemlist Multichannel ($109 a user), Salesflow ($99 a seat), Skylead ($100 a seat) and Botdog ($79). Prices read on each vendor's page on October 3, 2026. LinkedIn's User Agreement bans unauthorized bots, so every tool on this list puts the rep's own account at some risk. The safety and limits sections below quote LinkedIn's own rules.

Disclosure: Cleanlist AI publishes this page. Cleanlist AI sits outside the ranking: its Sequences include LinkedIn steps, described in a disclosed box after the 10 tools, and its plans are on the Cleanlist AI pricing page. Competitor prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, read in a browser on October 3, 2026, with every billing toggle checked.

What is LinkedIn automation?

LinkedIn automation is software that takes actions on LinkedIn for you: it visits profiles, sends connection requests with a note, messages people once they accept, follows up on a timer and stops when someone replies. You give it a list of LinkedIn profiles, a sequence of steps and daily limits, and it works through the list from your account.

The tools come in two builds. Cloud tools run the sequence from their own servers, often with a fixed IP address in your country (Expandi sells a "dedicated country-based IP-address"; La Growth Machine says it runs "entirely in the cloud"). Extension tools install in your Chrome browser (Waalaxy, for one, is installed from the Chrome Web Store). Vendors argue about which build LinkedIn detects less often. LinkedIn's own policy names both bots and browser extensions, so neither build is approved by LinkedIn.

LinkedIn's paid products, Sales Navigator and Recruiter, are separate: LinkedIn sells them, and they help you search and message by hand.

Outreach automation vs content scheduling

Search "LinkedIn automation tools" and part of the results are post schedulers and ghostwriting tools. Those publish your own posts on a calendar. Outreach automation acts on other people: their profiles, their inboxes, their invitations. This guide covers outreach automation only.

The difference matters for risk. A scheduler that publishes through LinkedIn's official API is doing what LinkedIn built the API for. An outreach tool that drives your logged-in session is doing what section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement lists as a "don't": using "bots or other unauthorized automated methods" to add contacts or send messages.

The 10 best LinkedIn automation tools in 2026

1. HeyReach

HeyReach is built for running LinkedIn outreach from many accounts at once. Its homepage pitch: connect LinkedIn accounts "and automatically rotate sending between them," so one campaign spreads its daily volume across several senders. Growth costs $79 per sender a month, $71 billed quarterly or $63 billed yearly, and includes unlimited campaigns, every LinkedIn action, a unified inbox, 100 enrichment credits per sender, an API, webhooks and an MCP server. Agency is $999 a month for 25 senders with white label and done-for-you onboarding; Unlimited is $2,999 a month, which HeyReach caps at 300 senders under a fair-use policy. HeyReach sends email through its Instantly and Smartlead integrations.

Best for: agencies and outbound teams that run campaigns from many LinkedIn accounts and want one inbox for all of them.

2. Expandi

Expandi is a cloud tool that sells account safety as its main feature. The Business plan is $99 a seat a month, or $79 on annual billing, and lists a "dedicated country-based IP-address," "profile auto warm-up" for new accounts, daily limit ranges you set per action and a promise that Expandi "won't allow you to go over limits." Sequences mix connection requests, messages and email follow-ups, with if/then branches. The same pricing page also lists "campaign types that allow bypassing outreach limits," such as a Mobile Connector campaign it says adds 100 connection requests a week; read that line next to LinkedIn's limits below before you switch it on. Agency pricing is custom from 10 seats. The trial runs 7 days.

Best for: solo sellers and small teams who want cloud sending, warm-up for a new account and email follow-ups in the same sequence.

3. Dripify

Dripify runs LinkedIn and email drip sequences on every paid plan. Basic is $59 per user a month, or $39 billed annually, with one drip campaign and limited daily quotas. Pro is $79, or $59 annually, and adds unlimited campaigns, full daily quotas, a dedicated inbox, CSV export, webhooks, a HubSpot integration and an open API and MCP server. Advanced is $99, or $79 annually, and adds multi-team management, "advanced LinkedIn protection," A/B testing and evergreen leads. Every plan includes 100 email finder credits a month, and the trial lasts 7 days.

Best for: individual sellers who want LinkedIn and email in one sequence at a low seat price.

4. Waalaxy

Waalaxy is the budget entry point, and it says 200,000+ sales reps, founders and teams use it. In US dollars, Pro is $59 per user a month, $47 billed quarterly or $29 billed yearly, with 300 invitations a month. Advanced is $120 a month ($60 yearly) and raises the cap to 800 invitations a month, with API access and Make, Zapier and n8n modules. Business is $179 a month ($90 yearly) and is the only plan with cold email sequences, multichannel LinkedIn plus email campaigns and 500 email finder credits. Waalaxy is installed from the Chrome Web Store, and every plan starts with a 14-day trial.

Best for: founders and freelancers starting LinkedIn outreach who want a hard monthly cap on invitations.

5. La Growth Machine

La Growth Machine (LGM) bills per identity, its word for each profile that runs campaigns. Basic is €60 an identity a month, or €50 on annual billing, for LinkedIn and email with 250 enriched leads a month and one sending mailbox per identity. Pro is €120 (€100 annually) and adds calls, five sending mailboxes per identity with inbox rotation, a unified LinkedIn and email inbox, A/B tests and Slack alerts. Ultimate is €180 (€150 annually) and adds X, 1,000 enriched leads a month and HubSpot and Pipedrive sync. LGM says it runs with "no extensions, and no shared IPs." The trial lasts 14 days.

Best for: teams that want LinkedIn, email, calls and X in one sequence, with the replies in one inbox.

6. MeetAlfred

MeetAlfred is a cloud tool that says it has 175,000+ registered users in 92 countries. Individual is $59 a seat a month, $47 billed quarterly or $35 billed annually ($425 a year). Business is $99, $79 quarterly or $59 annually ($713 a year), and adds multichannel automation, Sales Navigator support, InMail automation and automation for LinkedIn groups and events. Teams is $79 a seat a month, or $47 annually, with team workspaces and a shared inbox. One caution: the comparison table lower on the same pricing page lists lower annual prices than the plan cards, so confirm the figure at checkout.

Best for: sellers who use LinkedIn groups, events and InMail as outreach channels.

7. lemlist

lemlist is an email sequencer first. Its Email plan ($69 a user a month, $55 billed yearly) has no LinkedIn automation. Multichannel is $109 a user a month, or $87 billed yearly, and adds LinkedIn automation, SMS, a built-in call dialer, a WhatsApp add-on and five senders per user, plus a way to use lemlist from Gmail and LinkedIn. Both plans include lemlist's 650M+ lead database; data runs on a separate add-on from $20 a month. The lemlist pricing guide works through the credit math for a team.

Best for: teams whose outbound is mostly email and who want LinkedIn steps inside the same sequence.

8. Salesflow

Salesflow prices per seat on a sliding scale. Basic is $99 a seat a month for one user or more. The per-seat price falls with team size: $70 from 5 seats, $39.95 from 20, $29.98 from 50 and $24.99 from 100, with the last two on an annual commitment billed monthly. Six-month billing takes 15% off and twelve-month billing 30%. Every plan includes multichannel LinkedIn and email outreach, a unified inbox for LinkedIn and Sales Navigator conversations, reporting across both channels, HubSpot and Zapier integrations and API access. The trial runs 7 days.

Best for: agencies and sales teams buying 20 or more seats, where the per-seat price drops fastest.

9. Skylead

Skylead sells one All-in-one plan at $100 a seat a month: LinkedIn automation, unlimited email accounts with up to 100,000 emails a month, email warm-up, an email finder and verifier, image and GIF personalization, "smart sequences" and an API. A B2B database and account-based prospecting are included; AI data enrichment and an AI SDR are add-ons. Agency is $999 a month for 25 seats, or $1,999 for unlimited seats, as a first-year promotion. Annual billing gives two months free, and the trial lasts 7 days.

Best for: teams that want LinkedIn steps and unlimited sending inboxes under one seat price.

10. Botdog

Botdog puts every feature on one plan and charges per account. Solo is $79 per account a month, or $55.33 billed yearly ($664 a year), with unlimited campaigns, every LinkedIn action, AI campaign building, an AI inbox, multi-account management, account health analytics and an API. Agency starts at $299 a month for 5 senders ($209.33 billed yearly) and steps up to 40 senders, with white-glove onboarding and migration. A managed service, where Botdog's team runs the campaigns, starts at $690 a seat a month. Botdog's pricing page lists LinkedIn actions only, with no email steps. The trial lasts 7 days.

Best for: small agencies that want a flat price per LinkedIn account and no feature tiers.

Our product: LinkedIn steps inside Cleanlist AI Sequences

Cleanlist AI is a GTM platform, and LinkedIn is one channel inside its Sequences. A Cleanlist AI sequence runs email from the rep's own Gmail or Outlook mailbox, LinkedIn steps from the rep's own LinkedIn account, and call tasks, in one order you set. LinkedIn steps (a profile visit, an invitation, a message) sit between the emails and the calls, waits count business days, and each step counts toward daily limits the rep controls. A reply ends the sequence for that lead. Each Pro seat includes one LinkedIn account (Starter sequences email and call tasks only), and LinkedIn steps cost 0 credits. The Sequences page shows a full sequence.

The people come from People Search over 1B+ profiles, and each email and phone number comes from a waterfall across 25+ data providers, verified before the first step goes out. Clu, Cleanlist AI's GTM agent, turns one sentence into an agent that finds new people who match your ICP every week, enriches them, adds them to a sequence and posts the run to Slack (agents are on Pro). The Chrome extension works from a LinkedIn profile URL you supply: Cleanlist AI asks its providers for that person's work email and phone number and saves the result to a lead list.

Is LinkedIn automation safe?

No third-party LinkedIn automation tool is approved by LinkedIn, and the risk lands on the rep's personal account. Here is what LinkedIn itself publishes.

The rule. Section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement (effective November 3, 2025) lists what members agree not to do. Item 13 covers using "bots or other unauthorized automated methods to access the Services, add or download contacts, send or redirect messages," or to create, like or share posts. Item 2 covers software, "browser plugins and add-ons" used to scrape or copy the service.

The enforcement. LinkedIn's help page on prohibited software says it does not permit third-party software, "including 'crawlers', bots, browser plug-ins, or browser extensions," that scrape, change the look of, or automate activity on LinkedIn. Members who use them risk having the account restricted or shut down, and LinkedIn warns the tools themselves "may become non-operational without notice."

The way back. LinkedIn's page on automated activity tells a restricted member to disable the software, after which the account is re-enabled at the time stated in the restriction notice, or to contact LinkedIn for a review.

What triggers restrictions, in LinkedIn's words:

  • Sending "many invitations within a short amount of time."
  • Invitations that are "ignored, left pending, or marked as spam."
  • Too many outstanding invitations, which can block new invitations for up to a month.
  • Profile viewing that suggests "commercial use, like hiring, prospecting, or scraping," which temporarily blocks viewing profiles outside your network.

What lowers the risk in practice. A tighter list raises the acceptance rate, and acceptance is the signal LinkedIn's invitation rules lean on. Withdraw invitations that have sat unanswered for weeks before they pile up. Keep daily volumes well below a tool's maximum, ramp a new account slowly, give each account to one person, and write a real note. A cloud IP or a warm-up routine changes how the activity looks to LinkedIn, and the User Agreement applies either way.

LinkedIn's limits on invitations, messages and searches

LinkedIn publishes the rules and the waiting periods, but very few numbers.

LimitWhat LinkedIn publishesLinkedIn help page
Weekly invitationsNo number. Hitting the limit "typically" restricts invitations for one week; withdrawing pending invitations does not lift it, and LinkedIn "cannot remove or shorten the wait period"Invitation limit reached
Restriction waitsFirst restriction: wait a few hours. Several in one day: a few days. Too many outstanding invitations: up to one month. "Most restrictions will automatically be removed within one week"Types of restrictions for sending invitations
Notes on invitationsFree members can add a personal note to 5 connection requests a month; Premium members to all of themInvitation limit reached
Searches (free accounts)A monthly "commercial use limit" when activity looks like hiring or prospecting. No count shown; resets at midnight PST on the 1st of each month; Premium Business, Recruiter Lite and Sales Navigator raise itCommercial use limit
Profile viewsA data security limit on out-of-network profile views; no count shown, and LinkedIn "can't lift the limit upon request"Data security limits on profile views
Messages to connectionsNo published daily numberNone

The "100 invitations a week" figure that circulates in sales communities comes from members' posts. LinkedIn's help pages give no weekly number. Vendors set their own caps: Waalaxy's plans stop at 300 or 800 invitations a month, and most cloud tools ask you to set a daily range per action. Treat any vendor default as a ceiling.

The cheapest LinkedIn automation tool

The cheapest LinkedIn automation tool on annual billing is Waalaxy Pro at $29 a user a month, for 300 invitations a month and LinkedIn only. MeetAlfred Individual is next at $35 a seat billed annually, then Dripify Basic at $39, which limits you to one campaign and lower daily quotas.

On monthly billing, Waalaxy Pro, Dripify Basic and MeetAlfred Individual all cost $59. For email steps in the same sequence, the cheapest monthly options are Dripify Basic ($59) and La Growth Machine Basic (€60 an identity).

At volume, per-account prices drop. Salesflow falls to $24.99 a seat from 100 seats on an annual commitment, and HeyReach Agency ($999 a month for 25 senders) works out to about $40 a sender.

LinkedIn plus email in one sequence

A multichannel sequence alternates LinkedIn and email so each touch adds something the last one did not. A common shape:

  1. Day 1: visit the profile.
  2. Day 2: connection request with a short note.
  3. Day 4: email, for people who have not accepted.
  4. Day 6: LinkedIn message, for people who accepted.
  5. Day 9: follow-up email.
  6. Day 12: final LinkedIn message or email, then stop.

The sequence stops for anyone who replies on either channel. That only works when both channels run in one tool, or two tools that share reply status.

Expandi, Dripify, La Growth Machine, lemlist Multichannel, Skylead, Salesflow, MeetAlfred Business and Waalaxy Business run email steps natively. HeyReach adds email through Instantly and Smartlead. Botdog's pricing page lists LinkedIn only. Each email step needs a verified address for the person, so check where a tool gets its emails before comparing seat prices.

Sales engagement platforms run the same pattern with calls and tasks added. See the best sales engagement platforms for those, and the sales sequences guide for complete sequences with day offsets and stop rules.

How to choose a LinkedIn automation tool

  • Solo founder on a budget: Waalaxy Pro at $29 a month billed yearly, with its 300-invitation monthly cap.
  • Solo seller who wants LinkedIn and email: Dripify Pro at $79 a month ($59 annually), or Expandi Business at $99 ($79) for cloud sending and warm-up.
  • Agency with many sender accounts: HeyReach Agency ($999 for 25 senders) or Botdog Agency (from $299 for 5).
  • Sequences across LinkedIn, email, calls and X: La Growth Machine Pro or Ultimate.
  • Email-first team adding LinkedIn: lemlist Multichannel at $109 a user ($87 yearly).
  • 20 seats or more: Salesflow, where the seat price falls to $39.95 and below.

Whichever you pick, set daily limits below the tool's default and watch your acceptance rate weekly. Cleanlist AI's plans, with Sequences from Starter and LinkedIn steps from Pro, are on the pricing page.

FAQ

What is the best LinkedIn automation tool?

The best LinkedIn automation tool depends on volume. HeyReach is the best fit for agencies running many sender accounts ($79 per sender a month, or $999 for 25). Dripify and Expandi fit solo sellers who want LinkedIn and email in one sequence ($59 to $99 a month). Waalaxy is the cheapest start at $29 a month billed yearly. Prices were read on each vendor's page on October 3, 2026.

Does LinkedIn allow automation tools?

No. Section 8.2 of LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits bots and unauthorized automated methods that add contacts or send messages, and LinkedIn's help center says it does not permit third-party software or browser extensions that automate activity on its website. Accounts that use them risk restriction or shutdown.

How many connection requests can you send per week on LinkedIn?

LinkedIn does not publish a weekly number. Its help center says that reaching the invitation limit can restrict sending, typically for one week, and that sending many invitations in a short time or having many ignored or pending invitations can trigger a restriction. The figure of 100 a week comes from members' reports; LinkedIn's help pages give no number.

What is the safest LinkedIn automation tool?

No LinkedIn automation tool is approved by LinkedIn, so none is safe in the sense of being permitted. Cloud tools with account warm-up, daily limit ranges and a fixed IP, such as Expandi and La Growth Machine, reduce the patterns LinkedIn flags. Low daily volumes, a targeted list and withdrawing stale invitations matter more than the tool.

How much do LinkedIn automation tools cost?

LinkedIn automation tools cost $29 to $179 per LinkedIn account a month at list price, or €50 to €180 at La Growth Machine. Waalaxy Pro is $29 a month billed yearly. Most entry plans cost $59 to $109 a month on monthly billing. Agency plans run $299 to $2,999 a month for many senders. Prices were read on each vendor's page on October 3, 2026.

Can I automate LinkedIn and email in one sequence?

Yes. Expandi, Dripify, La Growth Machine, lemlist Multichannel, Skylead, Salesflow, MeetAlfred Business and Waalaxy Business run LinkedIn and email steps in one sequence and stop for anyone who replies on either channel. HeyReach connects email through Instantly and Smartlead.
