The short version

Snov.io is an all-in-one outreach tool for small teams: an email finder, a verifier, mailbox warm-up, email and LinkedIn campaigns and a light CRM, all on one credit plan with unlimited team seats. Starter is $39 a month for 1,000 credits, and a found prospect or a verified email costs 1 credit each. It fits founders and small sales teams who want to find, check and email leads without stitching tools together. It fits less well if calling is central to your outreach, because phone numbers are paid in enrichment tokens, a meter apart from the plan's credits, at $0.20 to $0.44 per number found. We make Cleanlist, a data enrichment tool, so read this as a vendor's review. Our own plans are on the pricing page.

This is a pricing, fit and user-evidence review. We did not run a list or a campaign through Snov.io for it, so there is no "our test" section and no accuracy score. Every Snov.io fact below comes from Snov.io's own pricing page or from dated user reviews, and each one is linked where it is used.

What Snov.io does

Snov.io sells two things on one plan: finding leads and contacting them. Its pricing page, read on October 1, 2026, covers five parts (Snov.io):

  • Email Finder. Database search by ICP filters, domain search, email search by name and company, and Chrome extensions for company websites and LinkedIn. Snov.io says the database is "reverified monthly." You are charged "not for the search itself, but for saving prospects and viewing collected company leads."
  • Email Verifier. A "7-tier Email Verification" that Snov.io says checks emails "with 98%+ accuracy," with bulk files of up to 100,000 emails. That accuracy figure is Snov.io's own claim.
  • Warm-up. Mailbox warm-up with a daily volume per account that grows by plan.
  • Campaigns. Email and LinkedIn sequences with unlimited senders, follow-ups and campaigns, a shared inbox for replies, and a safeguard that pauses a campaign when bounces run high.
  • CRM and integrations. A sales CRM, two-way HubSpot and Pipedrive integrations, Zapier and Make, and an API with webhooks.

LinkedIn automation is a separate add-on, and phone data runs on enrichment tokens: the pricing page offers "verified phone numbers" through a Phone and Data Enrichment token pack, and Snov.io's token guide prices one number at 10 or 22 tokens.

What Snov.io costs

Snov.io publishes every tier. The ladder below was read off snov.io/pricing on September 1, 2026, and the prices, plan names and credit counts matched when we read the page again on October 1, 2026 (Snov.io):

PlanMonthly priceCredits a monthRecipients a monthCost per 1,000 credits
Trial$050100
Starter$391,0005,000$39.00
Pro S$995,00025,000$19.80
Pro M$18920,00050,000$9.45
Pro L$36950,000100,000$7.38
Ultra$738100,000200,000$7.38

Annual billing takes 25% off, which brings Starter to $29.25 a month in our B2B data pricing index. The cost-per-1,000 column is our arithmetic from Snov.io's own prices.

How the meters work matters more than the ladder:

  • Credits pay for data. "Each email verification and each prospect costs 1 credit," and credits are shared between the finder and the verifier. Find a prospect and then verify the address, and you have spent 2 credits.
  • Recipients pay for sending. You are charged one recipient "when you first contact a lead via email or LinkedIn," and follow-ups to that lead in the same billing period are free.
  • Seats are free. Every paid plan "includes unlimited team seats."
  • Rollover depends on billing. Snov.io's pricing FAQ says unused credits "expire every 30 days, but can roll over to the next month when on annual plan or with enabled plan renewal." Unused recipients do not roll over. The custom top tier, from 200,000 credits, also lists "Unused credits rollover."
  • Add-ons are separate. LinkedIn automation is $69 a month per LinkedIn account slot, or $62 on annual billing. Phone and data enrichment is sold as token packs at $0.02 a token, valid for 90 days. Snov.io's token guide prices a phone number at 10 or 22 tokens depending on the data provider, charged only when a number is found, so $0.20 to $0.44 a number.

On Starter, a thousand found and verified contacts costs 2,000 credits, which is two months of the plan. On Pro S the same thousand is under half the monthly allowance.

What users say about Snov.io

Snov.io's user ratings are high on both sites we could read. Capterra shows 4.5 out of 5 from 215 reviews, with 4.6 for ease of use and 4.7 for customer service (Capterra). Trustpilot shows 4.6 out of 5 from 1,589 reviews, 89% of them five stars and 5% one star (Trustpilot).

Support is the most praised part:

"Snov.io is probably the best customer service I've experienced" (Trustpilot, 5 stars, September 3, 2026)

Value for money comes up often, with a catch. This reviewer titled the review "Comes cheap but at a price":

"Snov.io is an amazing budget tool for building out a database from Linkedin contacts." (Capterra, managing partner, marketing and advertising, 3 stars, August 17, 2021)

The complaints are about data freshness, service breakdowns and refunds, the interface and how credits are split:

"many email addresses were either outdated or not properly verified, which affected campaign performance and increased bounce rates" (Trustpilot, 3 stars, August 5, 2026)

"their service broke down I demanded a refund" (Trustpilot, 1 star, August 26, 2026)

"The UI is overloaded and there are many actions around the screen." (Capterra, marketing support, leisure and travel, 5 stars, December 9, 2023)

"Capturing and verification of leads should not be charged separately" (Capterra, marketing, internet, 5 stars, November 23, 2022)

The last complaint still describes the credit model today: saving a prospect and verifying its email are two separate 1-credit actions.

Where Snov.io is strong

  • One subscription for a small team. Finder, verifier, warm-up, campaigns and a CRM on one plan, with unlimited seats, is hard to beat for a founder or a three-person sales team.
  • Transparent pricing. Every tier, credit count and recipient limit is printed on the page.
  • Cheap follow-ups. A recipient is billed once per period, so long sequences cost no more than short ones.
  • CRM sync. Two-way HubSpot and Pipedrive integrations, plus Zapier, Make and an API.
  • Support. Reviewers on both sites single it out.

Where Snov.io falls short

  • Phones cost extra. Verified phone numbers are paid in enrichment tokens ($0.02 a token, packs valid 90 days), billed apart from the plan's credits. Snov.io's token guide prices one number at 10 or 22 tokens, charged only when found, so $200 to $440 per 1,000 numbers found. Teams that call a lot should price that before they commit.
  • Credits split between finding and checking. Verifying what the finder returns doubles the credit cost of a contact.
  • Freshness varies. Several reviews report outdated or unverified addresses. Snov.io says the database is reverified monthly, and publishes no independent accuracy figure.
  • A busy interface. Doing everything in one tool means a lot of screens.
  • Reliability and refund complaints. Some recent Trustpilot reviews describe the service breaking down and refunds that were slow or refused.

Is Snov.io legit?

Yes. Snov.io is an established product with published pricing and about 1,800 dated reviews across Capterra and Trustpilot, most of them positive. The negative reviews read like the complaints any outreach tool collects: service breakdowns, refund disputes and data that did not hold up in a campaign.

Is Snov.io free?

There is a free Trial plan with 50 credits, 100 recipients, warm-up for one mailbox and access to the first 20 prospects in a database search. It is enough to test the finder and the verifier on a handful of leads. Real use starts on Starter at $39 a month.

Is Snov.io worth it?

For a small team that wants to find, verify and email leads from one place, yes, and the unlimited seats make it better value the more people share the account. For a team that needs direct dials on most rows, phones are a second purchase on top of the plan. For a team that already has a sender and only needs clean data, you would be paying for a campaign engine you do not use.

How we reviewed Snov.io

  • What this review is. A pricing, fit and user-evidence review. We did not run our own contacts through Snov.io, and nothing on this page is a measured result of ours about Snov.io.
  • What we read, and when. Snov.io's pricing page on September 1, 2026 for our price ledger and pricing index, and again on September 22 and October 1, 2026; its Capterra and Trustpilot pages on October 1, 2026. Prices checked October 1, 2026.
  • What we could not read. G2 and Reddit blocked our reader when this was written, so the user section quotes Capterra and Trustpilot. Quotes are copied exactly, with the date and star rating and without names.
  • Our own figure. Cleanlist's 98% verified work email and 85% direct dial is our own benchmark on our own 500-lead sample. It is not a test of Snov.io.

Verdict: who should buy Snov.io, and who should not

Buy it if you are a founder, an agency or a small sales team that wants one tool to find leads, check them, warm mailboxes and run email sequences, with everyone on the same plan. Start on Starter, and move to Pro S once you are verifying most of what you find.

Skip it if your outreach depends on phone calls and you want phones priced inside the plan, or if you already run a sender and only want the data. In the second case the campaign features are cost you carry without using. Our sales prospecting tools comparison covers the other options.

Where Cleanlist fits next to Snov.io

Cleanlist covers the data side of the same job with a different mechanism. It runs a waterfall across 25+ data providers, stops at the first verified hit, and returns a verified work email and a direct dial on the same row, charged only when data comes back. The finished list syncs both ways with HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive, or you export the enriched rows and load them into Snov.io's campaigns. Our Cleanlist vs Snov.io comparison sets the two side by side, the waterfall enrichment tools guide explains the waterfall approach, and the outbound use case shows the full workflow.
