The verdict
LeadIQ is a well-liked prospecting tool for SDRs who build lists from LinkedIn profiles and push them into the CRM, and its Chrome extension is the reason to buy it. Users rate it 4.4 out of 5 from 25 reviews on Capterra. Pro starts at $20 a month for 200 credits, or $15 a month billed annually for 2,400 credits a year, shared by up to five users, and there is a free plan with 50 credits. An email costs 1 credit and a phone number 10, so it suits email-first teams. Bulk list work is slow. Cleanlist publishes this review and sells contact data too; our own plans are public.
Prices, ratings and quotes on this page were checked on October 1, 2026. This is a pricing, fit and user-evidence review. Cleanlist has not run LeadIQ on a file of its own, so no figure here is our measurement of its data. LeadIQ draws its prices in the browser; we read the rendered pricing page with both billing toggles, and the figures match our public B2B data pricing index of September 1. Ratings and quotes come from Capterra and Trustpilot, read the same day. For the full credit arithmetic, see our LeadIQ pricing guide.

What is LeadIQ?
LeadIQ is a sales prospecting platform built around a Chrome extension. Its homepage headline is "Accelerate Revenue with AI-Driven Data", and it describes the product as "global data to enrich, track, prospect, personalize, and automate sales." A rep opens a prospect's profile, captures the contact with the extension, and LeadIQ adds the email and phone it finds and syncs the record to the CRM.
The homepage names the rest of the toolkit: a Prospector that works with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Scribe for AI-written emails, job-change tracking ("Track job changes instantly"), automatic CRM sync, an API "for custom workflows", and a LeadIQ MCP integration for AI assistants. We found no database size or customer count on its homepage.
What LeadIQ costs, and is it worth it?
LeadIQ sells one pool of credits on a slider, shared by the users on the plan. The published credit costs are what decide the bill: an email is 1 credit, a phone number is 10, both together are 11, and an account enrichment is 3.
| Plan | Price | Credits | Users |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 50 | 1 |
| Pro | From $15 a month on annual billing, or $20 a month on monthly billing, at the slider's first stop | 2,400 a year on annual, 200 a month on monthly, rising on the slider | Up to 5 |
| Enterprise | Custom, annual plan only | Custom | Custom |
Source: leadiq.com/pricing, rendered and read October 1, 2026. LeadIQ labels annual billing "25% off" and says you can try any plan free for 30 days. The slider moves the price with the credit volume (up to 6,750 credits a month on monthly billing), so check the page at the volume you need.
At the first stop on annual billing, that is $75 per 1,000 email reveals and $750 per 1,000 phone reveals. On monthly billing it is $100 and $1,000. The entry price is low and five users share it, which makes LeadIQ cheap to start. The 10-credit phone is what makes it expensive for a team that dials: 200 credits a month is 200 emails or 20 phone numbers.
It is worth it for an email-first SDR team of up to five that prospects from profiles and values the extension and CRM sync. It is worth less for a phone-first team, or for anyone building lists of thousands.
Is LeadIQ free?
LeadIQ has a free plan with 1 user and 50 credits, per its pricing page. At the published rates that is 50 emails, or 5 phone numbers. It is enough to try the extension on your own prospects. LeadIQ also says you can try any plan free for 30 days.
Is LeadIQ legit?
Yes. LeadIQ is an established sales tool with a working product, and its Capterra reviews from users are mostly positive. Its Trustpilot page tells a different story, but it has only six reviews, and the ones we read come from people whose own details ended up in LeadIQ's data. One reviewer in France wrote in 2024: "You receive an e-mail out of the blue telling you that your personal data has been collected and is going to be used by an unknown Californian company." Another, in Ireland, reported getting sales calls because LeadIQ had attached their number to someone with the same name. Those are privacy complaints from people in the data, and they are worth knowing if you sell into Europe.
What LeadIQ users say
On October 1, 2026, LeadIQ had 4.4 out of 5 from 25 reviews on Capterra, with 4.6 for ease of use and 4.3 for customer service. On Trustpilot it had a TrustScore of 2.3 from 6 reviews. The Capterra sample is small and several reviews are a few years old, so we have noted the date on each quote.
What users like, quoted from Capterra:
"In terms of email validity it is one of the better products out there, especially when used in conjunction with LinkedIn's Sales Nav."
Director of Market Research, market research, April 2026
"The ability to capture additional contact information such as direct mobile or email to successfully prospect is automated, intuitive and integrates in Salesforce beautifully."
Revenue Operations Manager, financial services, July 2020
What users dislike, also from Capterra:
"The interface does not typically allow you to identify and download lists in bulk and when used with linkedIn's SalesNav it works on a per page bases of 25 people."
Director of Market Research, market research, April 2026
"Sometimes it can give incorrect emails after saying they were verified but this doesnt happen extremely often."
Account Executive, marketing and advertising, August 2020
Where LeadIQ is strong
The extension. Capturing a prospect from a profile and sending it to the CRM is quick, and reviewers praise how automated it is.
CRM sync. Reviewers call out the Salesforce integration, and LeadIQ says leads sync to the CRM automatically.
Email validity. A recent reviewer rates LeadIQ's email validity among the better products, especially alongside Sales Navigator.
Low entry price, shared by the team. Pro starts low and includes up to five users on one credit pool, so a small team does not pay per seat.
Beyond contacts. Job-change tracking, Scribe and an MCP integration extend it past lookup.
Where LeadIQ is weak
Phones cost 10 credits. A team that dials burns credits ten times faster than an email-only team on the same plan.
Bulk work. One recent reviewer says bulk downloads are not really supported and that, with Sales Navigator, it works a page of 25 people at a time.
Occasional wrong emails. Some users report emails marked verified that were wrong, though not often.
Small review base. 25 Capterra reviews, several of them from 2018 to 2020, is thin evidence for a tool of its profile.
Who should pick LeadIQ, and who should not
Pick LeadIQ if:
- Your SDRs prospect one profile at a time and want records in Salesforce or HubSpot without copying and pasting.
- Your motion is email-first, where 1 credit per email is efficient.
- A team of up to five can share one credit pool.
Look elsewhere if:
- Your reps dial, so most of your spend would go on 10-credit phone numbers.
- You need to enrich lists of thousands at once.
- You already have the list and need emails and direct dials on every row.

The verdict on LeadIQ
LeadIQ is a good buy for small, email-first SDR teams that prospect from profiles and want clean CRM sync, and its free plan and low entry price make it easy to try. The limits are the 10-credit phone number and slow bulk work, so size the plan against your dial target before you choose a slider position.
Where Cleanlist fits
LeadIQ captures contacts one profile at a time. Cleanlist works on a whole list at once: upload a CSV or pull from your CRM, and it fills in the email and the direct dial on every row. We have not run LeadIQ and Cleanlist on the same file, so this section makes no claim about which finds more. Cleanlist runs each row through 25+ providers in sequence and charges only for the verified results that come back.
